Six inspiring women reshaping STEM fields in Asia

Recognizing the contributions of women scientists is critical to creating a diverse and inclusive STEM community. That's why, at Asian Scientist Magazine, we always find opportunities to recognize and celebrate the achievements of our fellow female scientists from Asia.

In celebration of this year’s International Women’s Day, we take a look at six incredible individuals who are reshaping their fields across the region. From championing the protection of indigenous forests to studying the effects of space weather on Earth, these women have not only made groundbreaking discoveries, but also inspired and empowered the next generation of women scientists.
