A decade of celebrating Asia’s brightest minds 🌟

Asian Scientist Magazine is proud to present the 2025 edition of the Asian Scientist 100—marking our 10th year of spotlighting researchers and leaders reshaping science across the region. This year's diverse list spans 16 countries, featuring scientists dedicated to protecting people and our planet.

The 2025 honorees include groundbreaking women like Professor Nieng Yan, whose protein research is advancing epilepsy treatments, and Farwiza Farhan, who protects Sumatra's ecosystems while training women as forest rangers.

This year, we are especially thankful to Asian Scientist Magazine’s International Advisory Committee for their support in helping us create a diverse and equitable Asian Scientist 100 list.

"We are honored to spotlight the inspiring work of Asia's researchers over the last decade," said Dr. Juliana Chan, CEO of Asian Scientist Magazine.
